Early life & Education
Inamdar is an alumnus of the Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development and has worked with leading hospitality chains for over 16 years.[3]
Career
Varun Inamdar, a graduate of the esteemed 'Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development' in India, began his culinary journey as a dishwasher at Out of the Blue in Bandra.[4] He's an author, known for 'Celebrate Life, Food and Wine,' a book exploring the pairing of Indian flavor notes with local wines.[5] Inamdar is also the Brand Ambassador of Ecuadorian cocoa in India, representing the country at global forums.[6] Renowned as a creative chocolatier, he's crafted impressive edible creations like a 6-foot-tall Chocolate Mannequin and Chocolate Ganesha.[7] His 'Barcode-artisanal chocolates' showcase the diversity of India's 29 states through meticulously crafted flavor bars, celebrating the nation's rich culinary heritage.[8]
Inamdar Hosted private lunches for dignitaries such as Putin, Sarkozy, and Obama.[9] Recognised for his significant contribution to Indian culture, he was gifted a rosary by Pope Francis, the Bishop of Rome.[10]
Inamdar was appointed as an ambassador for 'The Eat Right Movement' by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, FSSAI, FDA, and AFSTI, alongside actor Rajkumar Rao.[11]
