Vik (also Vik i Helgeland) is the administrative centre of the municipality of Sømna in Nordland county, Norway. The village lies along the Norwegian County Road 17, about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) south of the village of Berg. The local church, Sømna Church, was built in 1876.[3]
The 0.48-square-kilometre (120-acre) village has a population (2018) of 381 and a population density of 794 inhabitants per square kilometre (2,060/sq mi).[1]
