Vohenstrauß (or Vohenstrauss; German: [ˈfoːənˌʃtʁaʊ̯s] ) is a town in Germany, located in the north-eastern part of the Bavarian region Upper Palatinate. The town is situated in the district of Neustadt an der Waldnaab. It is the birthplace of Heribert Illig.
