Brigadier William Cameron Murphy, CBE, DSO, ED, QC (27 April 1905 – 1961) was a Canadian lawyer and Canadian Army officer who commanded the 1st Canadian Armoured Brigade during the last stages of the Second World War.

The son of Mr Justice Denis Murphy of the Supreme Court of British Columbia, Murphy was educated at Lord Roberts Elementary School, King George Secondary School, and the University of British Columbia.[1] He was called to the bar of British Columbia in 1929.
