Yaya Hitayati (born 14 August 1930) is an Indonesian actress and singer who was active in the 1940s and 1950s. She is the part of Classical Indonesian Cinema.

Career

Yaya started her career by joined Sriwana orchestra as a singer and joined Melati troupe in Tasikmalaya during the Japanese occupation of the Dutch East Indies, as a lead actress.[1] She made her film debut by starred in Supir Istimewa (1954) as a supporting role and made another minor role in Djakarta di Waktu Malam (1954), and Dewi Rimba (1954).[1] She left the film industry in 1955 after starred in Lain Dulu Lain Sekarang (1954).[1]
