Zoe Atkin (born 16 January 2003) is a British-American freestyle skier.[2]
Career
She competed in the halfpipe event at the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships 2021 winning a bronze medal.[3][4] During the 2022-2023 competition season, she won silver in the halfpipe event at the 2023 World Championships in Bakuriani, Georgia and gold in the superpipe at the 2023 Winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado.[5][6] After qualifying for the 2022 Beijing Olympics in the halfpipe event, she qualified to the final in fourth and placed ninth overall in the final.[5][7][8]
Personal life
She is the younger sister of fellow skier Izzy Atkin; both were born in the United States to an English father and Malaysian mother, and have competed for Great Britain from a young age.[9][10] Atkin enrolled at Stanford University in 2022. [11]
