平城市
平城市（：／ Phyŏngsŏng si */?）是1960年代建立的新城市，为朝鮮民主主義人民共和國平安南道的道政府所在地，亦是该国著名的理科教育中心，設有由朝鮮國家科學院領導的研究所共25間，還有一個擁有超過40,000名科學家的「科學研究聯合體」，並有工業及山羊牧場等產業。
