海鲢总目（學名：）也作海鲢群，是脊索动物门辐鳍鱼纲的一个演化支[1][2][3]。

特征

本鱼类的鱼口长在端位，上颌越过眼后缘，侧线上有100个开孔。

在传统分类上，本分类的分类层级为海鲢总目，但2017年《硬骨鱼支序分类法》将本分类层级定为“群”（），属于新鳍亚纲真骨下纲，是海鲢高群（Elopocephalai）的唯一一个群。
