蓝枝藻属

蓝枝藻属学名Hyella)为宽球藻科的一蓝藻。也称岩线藻。本属的模式种为簇生蓝枝藻(Hyella caespitosa)。本属共有10种,中国有2种。藻体栖居在海洋或淡水中的各样的贝类、螺类以及藤壶或具有石灰质骨架的珊瑚海百合和含有石灰质的海藻上,或海边的碳酸钙岩石、石块上,形成多种色彩的藻簇或团块等。
