峨螺科
峨螺科（学名：）是新腹足目之下一個物種非常豐富、分佈範圍極廣的科[2]。 峨螺可以磨碎藤壺的殼並捕食藤壺。

分類
根據布歇特和洛克羅伊的腹足類分類 (2005年)，峨螺科之下簡單可分為六個亞科[4]：
- 峨螺亞科 Buccininae Rafinesque, 1815
- Beringiinae Golikov & Starobogatov, 1975
- Busyconinae Wade, 1917 (1867)
- Donovaniinae Casey, 1904 - synonym: Lachesinae L. Bellardi, 1877 (inv.)
- Pisaniinae Gray, 1857 - synonyms: Photinae Gray, 1857; Pusiostomatidae Iredale, 1940
- Siphonaliinae Finlay, 1928 - synonym: Austrosiphonidae Cotton & Godfrey, 1938
WoRMS過往還列出有第七個亞科Colinae Gray, 1857，但未有將相關的Colini族，而是將之保留在峨螺亞科之下[2]。但現時的做法，是所有屬不論亞科，一致放在峨螺科底下。單單是在ITIS列出屬於峨螺科的屬，就有48個[3]。
