The 2024–25 ASEAN Club Championship (or simply 2024–25 ACC) is a proposed (third) edition of the ASEAN Club Championship, an international football competition between domestic champion club sides affiliated with the member associations of the ASEAN Football Federation.[1][2][3] It will be the first ACC to commence since 2005.[4]
Vietnamese media reported that the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Competition Committee has approved 12 teams, with two from Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam; one from Philippines and Singapore, and two more to be determined through playoffs. The playoffs should involve teams from Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar.[5][6]
The tournament was officially cancelled due to the overlapping competition schedules (2026 FIFA World Cup qualification – AFC second round and 2023 AFC Asian Cup).[7]
