Bafran (Persian: باقران, also Romanized as Bāfrān and Bāfarān; also known as Bāfrān Minar)[3] is a city in the Central District of Nain County, Isfahan province, Iran.
At the 2006 census, its population was 2,138 in 590 households, when it was a village in Bafran Rural District.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,027 people in 656 households,[5] by which time the village had been elevated to the status of a city.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,978 people in 688 households.[2]
