Bastak (Persian: بستک)[3] is a city in the Central District of Bastak County, Hormozgan province, Iran, serving as both capital of the district and of the county. Bastak was traditionally part of the region of Irahistan.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 8,376 individuals in 1,765 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 9,225 people in 2,133 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 9,959 people in 2,661 households.[2]
