Beyranshahr (Persian: بيران شهر), formerly Chaghalvandi (چغلوندي), also Romanized as Chaghalvandī, Chaqalwandi, and Chaqalvandī; also known as Chagharvand and Chaqharvand,[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Beyranvand District of Khorramabad County, Lorestan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 census, its population was 1,544 in 336 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,409 people in 322 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,720 people in 471 households.[2]
