Borovnice (Czech pronunciation: [ˈborovɲɪtsɛ]; German: Borownitz) is a municipality and village in Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 200 inhabitants.
Borovnice lies approximately 21 kilometres (13 mi) north-east of Žďár nad Sázavou, 53 km (33 mi) north-east of Jihlava, and 136 km (85 mi) east of Prague.
