Dowlatabad (Persian: دولتاباد, also Romanized as Dowlatābād; also known as Daulasābād and Dowlatābād-e Esfandaqeh)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Esfandaqeh Rural District of Esfandaqeh District, Jiroft County, Kerman province, Iran, and also serves as capital of the district.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,200 in 460 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 5,534 people in 1,283 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 4,930 people in 1,387 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
