Gharb-e Karun Rural District (Persian: دهستان غرب كارون) is in the Central District of Khorramshahr County, Khuzestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Kofeysheh.[3]
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 4,821 in 846 households.[4] There were 4,663 inhabitants in 1,033 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 5,774 in 1,382 households. The largest of its 14 villages was Sabeh, with 980 people.[2]
