Golgir District (Persian: بخش گلگير) is in Masjed Soleyman County, Khuzestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Golgir.[3]
After the 2006 National Census, Tembi Golgir Rural District and Tolbozan Rural District were separated from the Central District in the establishment of Golgir District, which was divided into two rural districts.[3]
The census in 2011 counted 5,527 people in 1,279 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 7,238 inhabitants in 1,946 households.[2]
