Hureh (Persian: هوره, also Romanized as Hūreh; also known as Hora)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Hureh Rural District of Zayandehrud District, Saman County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran.[4] The village is populated by Turkic people.[5]

At the 2006 census, its population was 2,829 in 794 households, when it was in the former Saman District of Shahrekord County.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,629 people in 836 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,548 people in 814 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Saman County,, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Saman as its capital and only city.[4] It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
