Howmeh Rural District (Persian: دهستان حومه)[3] is in the Central District of Lamerd County, Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Tarman.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 4,087 in 899 households.[5] There were 4,186 inhabitants in 1,037 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 3,733 in 1,047 households. The largest of its 37 villages was Tarman, with 657 people.[2]
