Hub District (Lasi, Urdu: ضِلع حَب), is a coastal administrative district of Balochistan Province, Pakistan.[2] Hub District was created after bifurcating Lasbela District in 2022.[2][3]

Sardar Muhammad Saleh Bhootani confirmed that the creation of Hub District is a long-standing demand of his people of PB-49 constituency.[2]

Member, National Assembly of Pakistan (MNA) Mohammad Aslam Bhutani has thanked Chief Minister Bizenjo for approving the creation of this district.[2]

At the time of the 2017 census, Hub district had 49,449 households and a population of 339,640. Hub had a sex ratio of 913 females per 1000 males and a literacy rate of 35.90% - 45.37% for males and 25.49% for females. 227,872 (67.09%) lived in urban areas. 105,437 (31.04%) were under 10 years of age.[1]
