The Ifrenid Expedition to Tamesna was a conflict between the Barghawata Led by their king (Unknown) and the Ifrenids, Led By Temim Ibn Ziri.
Expedition
Emir Temim of the Ifrenides led a military campaign against Tamesna, thereby securing the departure of his forces to the entire region[1][2] which was Barghawata's first defeat since the Zirid Expedition to Barghawata.[3]
Aftermath
Upon conquering the region, Temim established his residence after expelling a significant portion of the population, subjecting the remainder to enslavement. Their false doctrines vanished without leaving any trace.[2]
