Jangal Rural District (Persian: دهستان جنگل) is in Jangal District of Roshtkhar County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.[3] It is administered from the city of Jangal.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 5,066 in 1,080 households.[5] There were 5,126 inhabitants in 1,252 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 5,311 in 1,423 households. The largest of its 24 villages was Jannatabad-e Jangal, with 2,659 people.[2]
