Mahmudabad-e Sofla (Persian: محمودابادسفلي, also Romanized as Maḩmūdābād-e Soflá)[3] is a village in Jangal Rural District of the Central District of Fasa County, Fars province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 485 in 105 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 575 people in 136 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 725 people in 187 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
