Early life and career

Mark Gillespie was born in Redditch, near Birmingham, in the United Kingdom.[2] Gillespie began working for the Birmingham superclub Godskitchen in a back-office role and later transitioned to talent booking.[3]

Three Six Zero

Gillespie co-founded the talent management company Three Six Zero with partner Dean Wilson in 2007,[4][5] who later left the company in 2017[6].The company represented artists like Calvin Harris, Frank Ocean, Deadmau5, and Kate Nash. In 2014, the company created partnerships with Warner Music and Roc Nation to launch Three Six Zero, a music label and publishing group. They finalized publishing deals with Good Times Ahead, Cut Snake (band) and Anabel Englund.[7]

Gillespie later established Three Six Zero Recordings within the company, a record label mostly known for its work with Tiësto, Shameik Moore and Louis Tomlinson. The label announced Pete Tong would act as President in 2019.[8] The company acquired the London based Sarm Studios from Trevor Horn in 2022.[9]

In 2022, Gillespie acquired Frontline Entertainment from Craig Dorfman, a talent company managing Jabari Banks and others.[10]
