Medrano is a municipality in La Rioja, Spain. It is situated 17km from the capital Logroño. There are 188 inhabitants and it covers 7.46km². Its name and coat of arms is derived from the Medrano family. The front of the town hall displays the ancient coat of arms of the noble House of Medrano with the Calatrava cross, the same one on the municipal coat of arms.
