Mid Valley SouthKey is a shopping mall in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. The mall opened on 23 April 2019, and it is one of the largest malls in the southern part of West Malaysia (between Melaka, Johor and Singapore).[2] The mall is located within the SouthKey development, which is developed by SouthKey City Sdn Bhd.[3]

The Mid Valley SouthKey development also includes the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, Johor Bahru (MVEC JB), 2 office towers and 1 hotel tower. The hotel tower is currently occupied by St. Giles hotel.

History

The mall is managed by the same group as the Midvalley Megamall located in Kuala Lumpur.

There are 260 tenants in Mid Valley Southkey, with the anchor tenants being Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, SOGO, AURUM Theatre, GSC Cinemas, Harvey Norman, Nitori, Village Grocer and LEGO.

Transportation

The mall is directly accessible via the Johor Bahru Eastern Dispersal Link Expressway, which connects to the North–South Expressway, Johor Bahru East Coast Parkway and Johor–Singapore Causeway via the Sultan Iskandar CIQ. The mall is also reachable via Jalan Bakar Batu, which connects to Tebrau Expressway and the rest of Johor Bahru.
