Satar (Persian: سطر; also Romanized as Saţar)[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Kolyai District of Sonqor County, Kermanshah province, Iran.
At the 2006 census, its population was 1,284 in 354 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,227 people in 326 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,048 people in 325 households.[2]
