Tazehabad (Persian: تازه اباد, also Romanized as Tāzehābād) is a village in, and the capital of, Kelarestaq-e Sharqi Rural District[3] of the Central District of Chalus County, Mazandaran province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,042 in 272 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,527 people in 469 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,897 people in 614 households.[2]
