Urzhar (Kazakh: Үржар, Úrjar) is a village in the Urzhar river valley and the administrative center of Urzhar District in the Abai Region of Kazakhstan. Population: 17,320 (2009 Census results);[1] 16,830 (1999 Census results).[1]
