含羞草亞科（学名：），為豆目豆科的一個亞科[2]，約有80屬3000多種。

形态
长樱 Calliandra houstoniana var. calothyrsa

特徵為花序乃許多輻射對稱的小花，聚合成頭狀花序，花葯多數，花絲通常有顏色，比花瓣顯著，常作為園藝觀賞用。多为乔木或灌木，少数为草本植物，叶为羽状复叶；花的花瓣3-6，花被小，花蕊长而突出；果实为荚果。有些類群具有假葉，為葉柄特化形成葉狀，只有在種子發芽長出第一片葉具有羽狀複葉，這種特徵在植物初期可見後來消失被稱為返祖現象。

分类

在旧有的分類系統，像是1982年的克朗奎斯特分類法，本类群為一獨立科含羞草科（），有5亚科约56属2800余种。1998年依分子学研究建立的APG 分類法，将本类群列为豆科下的一亞科。其中球花豆族（）被并入含羞草族。
