Adaran (Persian: آدران, also Romanized as Ādarān and Adrān)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Adaran Rural District, of Asara District, Karaj County, Alborz province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 census, its population was 581 in 192 households, when it was in Tehran province.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population had decreased to 391 people in 138 households,[2] by which time the county had separated from the province and become a part of recently established Alborz province.[6]
