Garmdarreh (Persian: گرمدره, also Romanized as Garm Darreh; also known as Garmdarreh-ye Pā'īn)[3] is one of the five cities in the Central District of Karaj County, Alborz province, Iran, and serves as the administrative center for Garmdarreh Rural District.[4]
At the 2006 census, its population was 12,738 in 3,329 households, when it was in Tehran province.[5] The 2016 census counted 22,726 people in 7,129 households,[2] by which time the county had separated from the province and become a part of recently established Alborz province.[6]
