Bommasandra is the upcoming elevated southern-east terminal metro station on the Yellow Line of the Namma Metro serving the Bommasandra neighbourhood with its Industrial Area and Heelalige railway station connected in this area. To the north it leads to Electronic City which holds the IT Parks like Infosys, Bosch (Bengaluru) and Wipro Floating Learning Centre. To the south, it leads to Attibele and Hosur, an industrial city in Tamil Nadu. As per latest reports, this metro station is stated to be operational post May 2024 due to the upcoming Indian general election which will occur during April-May 2024.[1][2][3][4]
