The Central District of Lenjan County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان لنجان) is in Isfahan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Zarrin Shahr.

At the National Census in 2006, its population was 179,602 in 46,389 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 199,261 people in 57,368 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 216,249 inhabitants in 66,834 households.[2]

After the census, Ashiyan-e Shomali Rural District, Khorram Rud Rural District, and the city of Fuladshahr were separated from the district in the establishment of Fuladshahr District. Additionally, Ashiyan-e Jonubi Rural District and Kariz Rural District were established in the Central District.[5]
