The Central District of Talesh County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان تالش) is in Gilan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Tālesh.[3]

At the National Census in 2006, its population was 85,258 in 20,617 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 91,978 people in 25,678 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 97,982 inhabitants in 29,589 households.[2]
