Chayjan (Persian: چايجان, also Romanized as Chāyjān and Chāyejān)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Siahkalrud Rural District[4] of Chaboksar District, Rudsar County, Gilan province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,097 in 346 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,056 people in 369 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 898 people in 331 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
