Dar Absar Rural District (Persian: دهستان درآبسر) is in Gowharan District of Bashagard County, Hormozgan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Khomeyni Shahr.[3]

After the National Census of 2006, Bashagard District was separated from Jask County in the establishment of Bashagard County, which was divided into three districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Sardasht as its capital.[3]

At the census of 2011, its population was 5,746 in 1,179 households.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 5,011 in 1,220 households. The largest of its 31 villages was Khomeyni Shahr, with 812 people.[2]
