Eshen (Persian: اشن, also Romanized as Ashan and Eshan; also known as Asheh and Ishan)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Eshen Rural District of Mehrdasht District, Najafabad County, Isfahan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,735 in 709 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,816 people in 865 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,748 people in 876 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]

The village is Farsi speaking.[6]
