Esmailabad Rural District (Persian: دهستان اسماعيل آباد)[3] is in the Central District of Khash County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Abbasabad.[4]
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 16,940 in 3,441 households.[5] There were 16,895 inhabitants in 3,699 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 17,577 in 4,430 households. The largest of its 106 villages was Esmailabad (now a city),[7] with 4,868 people.[2]
