Fareghan Rural District (Persian: دهستان فارغان) is in Fareghan District of Hajjiabad County, Hormozgan province, Iran. It is administered from the city of Fareghan.
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 3,159 in 829 households.[3] There were 2,729 inhabitants in 860 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,492 in 864 households. The largest of its 14 villages was Shahrud, with 408 people.[2]
