Forrokhshahr District (Persian: بخش فرخشهر) is in Shahrekord County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Farrokh Shahr.[3]
After the 2011 census, the city of Farrokh Shahr was transferred from the Central District and Dastgerd Rural District was transferred from Kiar County in the establishment of Farroskhshahr District, which was divided into two rural districts and the city.[3]
At the latest National Census in 2016, the district had 37,068 inhabitants living in 10,934 households.[2]
