Javanmardi (Persian: جوانمردي, also Romanized as Javānmardī)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Javanmardi Rural District[4] of the Central District of Khanmirza County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran. The village is populated by Lurs.[5]
At the 2006 census, its population was 2,179 in 520 households, when it was in the former Khanmirza District of Lordegan County.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,337 people in 569 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,385 people in 714 households.[2]
In August 2018, Armand Rural District and Khanmirza District were separated from Lordegan County in the establishment of Khanmirza County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Aluni as its capital.[8]
