Kerend Rural District (Persian: دهستان كرند) is in Dashli Borun District of Gonbad-e Kavus County, Golestan province, Iran.
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 7,607 in 1,567 households.[3] There were 8,511 inhabitants in 2,080 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 9,443 in 2,558 households. The largest of its eight villages was Korand, with 5,616 people.[2]
