Khomgaran (Persian: خمگران, also Romanized as Khomgarān)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Zamkan-e Shomali Rural District of Zamkan District, Salas-e Babajani County, Kermanshah province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 102 in 25 households, when it was in Zamkan Rural District of the Central District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 106 people in 25 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 108 people in 29 households.[2]

In 2019, Zamkan Rural District's name was changed to Zamkan-e Jonubi Rural District, separated from the Central District, and became, along with the new Zamkan-e Shomali Rural District, a part of the newly established Zamkan District.[4]
