Lavan Rural District (Persian: دهستان لاوان) is in Kish District of Bandar Lengeh County, Hormozgan province, Iran. The rural district covers Lavan Island and Shidvar Island.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 891 in 172 households.[3] There were 1,047 inhabitants in 255 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 1,214 in 304 households. The largest of its nine villages was Laz, with 1,101 people.[2]
