Mahajeran (Persian: مهاجران, also Romanized as Mahājerān; also known as Mohājerān)[3] is a city in Zalian District of Shazand County, Markazi province, Iran.
At the 2006 census, its population was 11,109 in 2,894 households, when it was a village in Pol-e Doab Rural District.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 12,293 people in 3,380 households, by which time the village had been elevated to the status of a city.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 20,346 people in 6,155 households.[2]
