Malmir Rural District (Persian: دهستان مالمير) is in Sarband District of Shazand County, Markazi province, Iran.
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 4,021 in 1,091 households.[3] There were 3,189 inhabitants in 1,008 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,631 in 952 households. The largest of its 26 villages was Malmir, with 619 people.[2]
