Majlesi (Persian: مجلسی), formerly Shahrak-e Majlesi (Persian: شهرک مجلسی), also Romanized as Shahrak-e Majlesī; also known as Shahr-e Majlesī and Shahr-e Jadid-e Majlesi,[3] is a city in the Central District of Mobarakeh County, Isfahan province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 census, its population was 2,659 in 662 households, when it was a village in Talkhuncheh Rural District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 4,083 people in 1,098 households, by which time the village had been elevated to the status of a city.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 9,363 people in 2,784 households.[2]
