Meshkin Dasht (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان فردیس) is in Fardis County of Alborz province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Meshkin Dasht.[3]
In August 2010, Karaj County, Nazarabad County, and Savojbolagh County were separated from Tehran province in the establishment of Alborz province.[4]
In July 2013, the city of Meshkin Dasht and other parts were separated from Karaj County in the establishment of Fardis County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Fardis as its capital.[3]
At the latest census in 2016, Meshkin Dasht District had 83,700 inhabitants in 25,490 households.[2]
